Lesbos is a Greek island in the northeastern Aegean Sea. It is the third largest island of Greece and the eighth largest in the Mediterranean after Sicily, Sardinia, Cyprus, Corsica, Crete, Mallorca and Euboea. The capital of the island is Mytilene.

The main beaches are located in Skala Eres, Mimimna and Petra. 3 km from the town of Molivos (another name is Mimimna; ancient Mephymna) is located the only beach on the island, Eftalou.
