Common description

Island of La Gomera (La Gomera) tourists appreciated primarily for its pristine nature. Landscapes are striking green steep slopes that are cut by parallel winding terraces. Such a relief of Homer always made it difficult to connect the villages. So far, many areas of the island have remained innocent.
La Gomera is just 30 km from Tenerife. This is where most tourists come for a day trip around the island. Homer tours start in the southern part of Tenerife. Ferries depart for the island 3-4 times a day.
The island has excellent national cuisine. Living there, people make guarapo (palm syrup), after which they produce palm honey, which is added to many dishes. Latin American cuisine has greatly influenced the cuisine of Homer Island (since the beginning of the 20th century. A large number of islanders have emigrated to Venezuela and Cuba): dishes such as "Cuban rice with fried banana" can be found here.
The most beautiful landscape of the archipelago is considered to be Valle Gran Rey in another way, "Valley of the Great Kings". A large number of tourists are attracted by the huge palm groves and artificially made on the slopes of the rocky terraces that resemble stairs.
