Common description
Cayo Ensenachos is a calm and quiet island, as if created to just swim, sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Cayo Ensenachos is located 110 km from Villa Clara and 385 km from the capital of Cuba - Havana. It is part of the Jardines del Rey Archipelago. Nearby are the other two islands of Cayo Las Brujas and Cayo Santa Maria. All three islands are connected to the main island of Cuba by a 48 km dam. Cayo Ensenachos has two beautiful beaches: Ensenachos and El Megano and two water sports centers.
Cayo Ensenachos is the smallest of the three islands. However, about 22 endemic plants grow here and 39 representatives of wildlife are found. The island has the shape of a horseshoe, and was originally a native settlement.
The waters are always quiet, thanks to the location of the island, which protects the beach from strong waves.
Bodies of water and beaches: the entrance is gentle, corals, a sandy beach, the underwater world is rich
Climate: marine
Getting there: by bus - 385 km from Havana
by plane to Havana, then by local airlines to Cayo Santa Maria;
