Redang

Common description

The Redang Archipelago is located in the northeast of the Peninsula Malaysia in the South China Sea. The archipelago consists of nine islands and the largest of them is Redang Island. The white sand, the turquoise sea, the bright sun - these are the magic of Redang Island. The island has a reputation as a marine park with one of Malaysia's most beautiful beaches.
North of the island - the calm waters of Teluk Dalam Kecil Bay, the snow-white beach and lush rainforests - this Berjaya Redang Beach Resort stretches in this amazing spot.
A paradise for deep-sea diving, the coral formations of the island is the most famous recognized as the largest single coral in the world - Coral Route, which has a mushroom height of 20 meters and a 300-meter diameter.
Particularly interesting on the reefs of the island is to dive at night - there is a feeling that all the living creatures of the oceans are sleeping here. From August to September, there is a migration of giant strapless turtles. The island has a ban on the sale of alcohol.
In the waters around the island live hawks and green turtles, drones, barracuda, stingrays, harup, whale sharks, tiger sea urchins, lobsters, as well as black, red and white corals, gargonaria and sponges.

There are several daily departures from Kuala Lumpur Local Airport to Redang. Flight time 1 hour 15 minutes.
