Phan Thiết is a city in southern Vietnam, the administrative center of Binh Thuan province. The population of the city is 205,333 people. Crucial for the economy of the city are the extraction and processing of fish, as well as tourism. One of the largest resort areas in Vietnam is located on the coast from Phan Thiet to the village of Mui Ne.
