The coastal city of Nya Chang in the Han Hoa province of Central Vietnam, is located on the trans-Vietnamese highway more than a thousand kilometers from the city of Hanoi and less than five hundred from Ho Chi Minh. Nyachang is ranked twenty-ninth in the list of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is there that the only oceanographic institute in Vietnam is located, which has close ties with Russian colleagues. Nature endowed Nya Chang with deep, quiet and warm waters all year round. Nya Chang is a beautiful and attractive tourist resort. In addition to magnificent beaches, exotic seafood cuisine, which includes delicious dishes of shrimp, lobster, mackerel, tuna, abalone and other marine life, a variety of oriental massage, here you can touch the ancient Indochinese culture by visiting the San Bong Bridge and Pagoda Tiam Cham - a symbol of Chiam culture. To the north of Nya Chang rises Mount Thong, which in shape resembles an open palm hanging over the surface of the sea. In the distance you can see the island of Yen, covered with lush tropical greenery, where from year to year there is a collection of salangana nests for the preparation of a traditional tonic drink “bird's nest” and exotic dishes.
The seven-kilometer Nya Chang beach made of white sand is often called the Vietnamese Mediterranean, and indeed, it is considered a magnificent pearl in the necklace of Vietnam's beautiful beaches. In Nya Chang, the sun shines all year round, the average annual temperature is 23 ° C. There is less rainfall here than in other regions of the country, and this region is not threatened by hurricanes or storms, since it is reliably protected by the Chyong Shon Mountains and Ka Pass.
Hon Tre Island covers an area of 25 square kilometers and is a group of islands located southwest of Nya Chang. It will take two hours to get to Hong Che island by boat and only 20 minutes by ferry. Nya Chang has many specific features. Each year, bird nest soup is prepared here, or the so-called “yen bird nest soup”. Nya Chang has the largest population of Yen birds in Vietnam. The bottom of the sea in Nya Chang, dotted with wonderful corals, provides an ideal opportunity for diving or just snorkelling.
